Breast Imaging

The Breast Imaging Fellowship is a one year non-accredited program. Ohio State will be accepting applications for one fellowship position. The Breast Imaging Fellowship Match will take place in March 2018 for the 2019 appointment year. The match is sponsored by the Society of Breast Imaging and it will be managed by the National Resident Matching Program. In order to become a fellow with The Ohio State University, you must register with the Radiology Match, of which Breast Imaging is a part.

To apply for a fellowship position, please send a completed application, CV, personal statement, USMLE and/or COMLEX transcript, medical school transcript, and 3 recent letters of recommendation within the past year) to Samantha Schnitzer, Education Program Manager in the Department of Radiology. We will then contact you about arranging an interview. Interviews will be conducted in January and February. Please note that an applicant may only apply to one fellowship program. All application materials must be received no later than February 1, 2018.

Breast Imaging has implemented an All In Policy for the Match. This means that programs participating in the Match cannot extend any offers to candidates outside of the match. Applicants can withdraw from the Match prior to the ranking deadline if they accept a position outside of the Match.

Dates of the Match: To be released

  • March, 2018: Registration opens
  • April, 2018: Ranking opens
  • May, 2018: Ranking Order List Deadline
  • June, 2018: Match Day
  • July 1, 2019: Training begins

Cost of the Match:

Applicants will pay a $75 registration fee to register for the Match.
