Contract, Benefits and Stipends


The Ohio State University offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide a variety of choices to best fit your needs and the needs of your family. Contract and Eligibility Requirments
We appreciate the desire of applicants to review a sample contract as you evaluate your residency and fellowship options. Please review a sample contract and eligibility requirements to aid in your decision making process. 

Please note that to be eligible for appointment to the program, residents must have successfully completed a clinical year consisting of training accredited by the ACGME in emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, surgery or surgical specialties, or a transitional year.

Insurance Benefits
The Ohio State University Medical Center offers full medical, vision, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage. Professional liability insurance covers all patient-care activity occurring within the scope of the training program.
